Welcome to Cozy Block Garden (the "Game"), a mobile game published by Chick Video Games ("we", "us", "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Chick Video Games and govern your download and use of the Game. Please read them together with our Privacy Policy.
By downloading, installing, or playing the Game, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Game.
The Game asks for your date of birth once, on first launch, to tailor the experience:
You agree to provide an accurate date of birth. If you are a minor, you may use the Game only as permitted by the laws of your country and, where required, with the consent of a parent or guardian.
We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the Game on devices you own or control, for your own private, non-commercial entertainment. You do not own the Game; we and our licensors retain all rights in it.
Adult players may type a public display name (a nickname) to appear on the leaderboard. You are responsible for the name you choose, and you agree not to submit any name that:
We operate a zero-tolerance policy for objectionable content. We apply automated filtering, every entry can be reported from within the Game, and we review reports and remove or mask violating names, typically within 24 hours. We may remove content and suspend or block access for users who abuse these features, at our discretion.
The Game is free and supported by advertising shown only to adult players. Ads are served by Google AdMob and are non-personalized. Rewarded ads are always optional — you choose whether to watch them for an in-game reward. No ads are shown in the child experience. See the Privacy Policy for how advertising data is handled.
The Game includes virtual items and an in-game currency ("petals"). Petals and virtual items:

The Game and everything in it — code, artwork, characters (including Thistle the hedgehog), music, and the "Cozy Block Garden" and "Chick Video Games" names and logos — are owned by us or our licensors and protected by law. Some components are used under their own open licences (for example, the game engine and certain audio), which are credited in the Game. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership to you.
The Game relies on third-party services, including Google Firebase, Google AdMob, and Google Sign-In; your use of them is also subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. The Game is distributed through the Apple App Store and Google Play; your use is also subject to the terms of the store you downloaded it from, and, with respect to the app licence itself, that store's standard end-user licence agreement applies. Apple and Google are not responsible for the Game or for these Terms.
The Game is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Game will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, or that your progress or data will always be preserved. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so some of the above may not apply to you.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Chick Video Games will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, progress, or profits, arising out of or relating to your use of (or inability to use) the Game. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including your mandatory rights as a consumer.
We may suspend or terminate your access to online features, or to the Game, if you breach these Terms or to protect the Game and its players. You may stop using the Game at any time by deleting it from your device. Terms that by their nature should survive (such as intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will survive termination.
We may update the Game and these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes to these Terms, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide a more prominent notice within the Game or on the store listing. Your continued use of the Game after the changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Argentina, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have under the laws of your country of residence.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Game and replace any prior understanding on that subject. If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in full effect. Our failure to enforce any right or provision is not a waiver of it. You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
