This page explains how to request deletion of your account and the data associated with the game
Cozy Block Garden: Puzzle ("Cozy Block Garden", the "Game"), published by
Chick Video Games on Google Play and the App Store. It complements our
Privacy Policy.
The short version. Playing the Game does
not require an account. If you
played online (adult experience) and want your cloud data removed, email
privacy@chickvideogames.com and we will delete it.
1. Accounts in Cozy Block Garden
For adult players, the Game creates an anonymous account automatically (no name,
email, or login) so your progress can sync and you can appear on the leaderboard. You may
optionally sign in with Google ("Cloud Backup", in Settings) to back up and
restore your progress across devices. The child experience collects nothing off your
device, so there is no online account or data to delete in that case.
2. How to request deletion
- Send an email to privacy@chickvideogames.com.
- Use the subject "Delete my account and data".
- So we can locate your record, include whichever of these apply:
- your leaderboard display name (the nickname you chose), and/or
- the Google email you used for Cloud Backup (if you enabled it).
- We will confirm and process your request. If we need to verify your request, we may reply to ask.
3. What we delete
- Your cloud save (game progress, garden, and synced settings).
- Your leaderboard entry and your reserved display name.
- Your anonymous account record and, if you used Cloud Backup, the
link to your Google account (your Google email and user ID).
4. What may be retained, and when deletion happens
- We action deletion requests within 30 days.
- Residual copies in routine backups are removed within 90 days.
- We may keep a minimal record only where required by law or to resolve disputes.
5. On-device data
Your local save and settings live only on your device. To remove them, delete the Game
from your device (or clear its app data). Deleting the app does not send us a request, so if you also want
your cloud data removed, please email us as described above.
